A Very Special Event

Members of Town and Gown of USC were honored at a very special event on May 22, 2011, at the home of USC President C. L. “Max” Nikias and his wife, Honorary Town and Gown President Niki Nikias. The lovely afternoon was filled with conversation, food and a friendly “hat” rivalry. The beautiful garden housed a large tent filled with Town and Gown members, enjoying the colorful decorations of lavender, green and white.

An unexpected presentation of a proclamation, highlighting the accomplishments of Town and Gown in its over one hundred years to President Judy Pohlmann was received with great enthusiasm and appreciation. Special thanks go to Dr. and Mrs. Nikias for honoring Town and Gown in such a special way.
